My name is Helen Roulston, and I am an associate professor of English at Murray State University in Murray, Ky, in far West Kentucky. I received my BA at the University of Maryland in 1960, my MA also at the University of Maryland in 1964, and completed my course work at the University of Kentucky in 1971. I am a professor with many and varied interests, including film, languages, music, travel, cats, all of which I incorporate into my teaching and to some extent my research.

My students have told me over the years that they love the way I
bring in my interests, films, music, travel, and cats, to enliven
the class lectures and discussions.
